What We Do
HYCA aims to plan, organise and deliver evidence-based health programmes and activities to improve the health and well-being of black and minority community.
We also act as a resource for ethnic minority young people up to the age of 30 by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities.
Youth Empowerment
HYCA offers mentoring programmes, activities, advice and guidance to our youth to make them resilient and focused to enable them to make positive contribution to community.
Adults & The Community
We aim to relieve the need of black and minority people who are in need, by reason of their age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or social circumstances.
We run health and well-being educational programmes and activities delivered by experienced health professionals.
Activities
We run HYCA Social and Warm Hub fortnightly, providing meals and playing cultural games. We engage in health walks and deliver information on financial help to participants. We run campaigns to deliver health and well being messages to our most vulnerable people.
